hahaha that is so funny! I feel the exact same way about sewing with flannel fabrics. I made just a couple blocks using flannel for some sunshine blocks once then the next week cleaned out my whole stash of it and gave it away - mailed it to the first two people who said they'd take it.
sorry you are having problems. I have one quilt that all the blocks are made out of homespun and I love that quilt. it was a very simple pattern though.
